In today's GB News Daily Reflection, we acknowledge that the good news of Christianity is that all those who come to Christ, who put their faith in him, can also move out into life with that as their foundation.
"Do you ever hope for and look for more affirmation and encouragement in your life as a starting place before heading out into a dark and difficult world?
"Well, yesterday we celebrated Trinity Sunday in the church calendar, and that is a time when we remember that God in his essence, in his inmost being, is three persons in one being. Now that's quite hard to get your head around. And theologians have been wrestling with that for 2000 years.
"In fact, Saint Augustine said it is hard to understand, but if we could understand it, it would probably not be God. So it's okay for some things to be beyond our human minds. But in essence, what it means is that God is a trinity of relationships.
"The father loving the son from all eternity in the Holy Spirit, the son loving the father also in the Holy Spirit from all eternity. And that means that love is at the heart of our universe, and love can be at the heart of your and my life as well."
