"The work of Jesus is like a farmer who went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering his seed, it fell on various kinds of ground.
"Some fell among thorns that grew up with the seed choking the crop, hindering the potential to bear fruit.
"The seed is the Word of God, and the thorns stand for those who hear. But as they go their way, they are choked by life's worries, riches, and pleasures, and do not mature to reach their full spiritual potential.
"Every day, the Word of God that contains divine delights about God and His salvation plan is being planted through these daily reflections, through the work of the church and many Christians in their daily lives."
