A surprise picture of a smiling Princess Charlotte alongside the family's black cocker spaniel, Orla has been shared to mark her eighth birthday.
The Prince and Princess of Wales thanked the public for sending birthday wishes to the Princess on Tuesday.
The picture, taken by Millie Pilkington, shows Charlotte in a blue and white knitted jumper surrounded by daffodils.
Writing on their official Twitter account, the Prince and Princess of Wales said: "Thank you for all the birthday wishes."

Another photo released earlier in the day features the Princess dressed in a white dress, smiling as she leans back in a chair.
It was taken in Windsor over the Bank Holiday weekend by her mother, the Princess of Wales.
The young Princess was born in the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London, at 8.34am on May 2, 2015, weighing 8lb 3oz.
The family live in Adelaide Cottage in Windsor's Home Park and Charlotte attends the private Lambrook School in Berkshire.
The new photos come just days before Charlotte will watch her grandfather being crowned King on Saturday.
She is expected to accompany her brothers, Prince George and Prince Louis, in the procession following the Coronation.
The Royal Family are making their final preparation ahead of the huge event set to take place in Westminster Abbey.
Following the release of the new photos, fans took to social media to share their love, as some claimed she resembled the late Queen.

One royal fan wrote: "Looks so like the Queen!"
While another added: "Happy Birthday Princess Charlotte!! I always thought she looked like the Queen, but as she gets older she looks like Diana and her Daddy. This picture is so Diana with the eyes."
The same photographer also took the pictures of Prince Louis which were released to mark his birthday last week.
