‘They asked me to dress as a chicken!’ Stephen Pound recalls HILARIOUS Labour election strategy

Former Labour Shadow Minister Stephen Pound has recalled the time that he dressed up as a chicken for a hilarious election gaffe.

Speaking to Bev Turner and Andrew Pierce on Britain's Newsroom, Pound said: "They asked me to dress up as a chicken once.

The Labour Party had this ridiculous idea. Those days when Tom Watson was actually doing our elections, I seem to remember we had somebody walking around with a top hat and an Old Etonian costume. "
