Labour and the Home Office have sparked an intense row about the recent spout of rioting across the country, as those involved in the street demonstrations were branded "criminals" on social media.
In a post about the action taken by police, the Home Office they have arrested over 1000 "violent criminals" as a result of the protests, and declared that "actions have consequences".
