The moment at People Forum went viral

The man who confronted the Prime Minister over the Covid-19 vaccines said he spoke out ‘because I'm not going to be a ‘died suddenly’ statistic.’

John Watt, who received three vaccines and has been diagnosed with a variety of health conditions, said the vaccine compensation scheme is no further forward than it was a year ago.

Speaking on GB News, John Watt said: “I was bedridden for 14 months and in a wheelchair. I had numerous conditions - Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), stomach issues, I’ve got neurological issues now.

“People may have seen me moving back and forth on the video (when speaking to Rishi Sunak) and unfortunately that's my problem now.

“When I stand up, I feel like I’m dizzy and I'm off balance, so if you see me moving about or anything like that, unfortunately, it's how I cope with things now.

“For me doing that last night, adrenaline and a heart issue does not go well and it took a lot out of me to do that and drive down there. I saw an opportunity and I took it.”

Reacting to comments made by Kevin Maguire where he called Mr Watt an ‘anti vaxxer’, he said:

“First of all, who is that guy? I don't know who he is. And what is an anti vaxxer? Could someone elaborate on what an anti-vaxxer is because I took three of these vaccines.

“Does that man [Kevin Maguire] have any idea how stupid he sounds saying that?

“The language people are using just now, saying anti-vax and all of that nonsense. To be completely honest with you, the narrative that it is ‘safe and effective’, in my opinion, is no longer valid.

“I call out anybody in this matter to show me the data that showed it saved one single life. I'm asking anybody, because since the roll out, there has been a massive increase and people dying.

“One of the reasons I spoke out is because I'm not going to be a ‘died suddenly’ statistic.

“These debates and everything need to be spoken about, and the vaccine injured and bereaved need to be heard.

“And I just can't believe that’s where we’re at, to call me an anti-vaxxer.

“I've recently just got my doctor's notes. It’s taken about six months to get those doctor's notes.

“I speak to all the vaccine injured in the UK. There's only been a very, very small percentage that have had a pay out, and I'm talking about people that have had spinal strokes and people who have heart conditions now.

“We’re no further forward than about a year ago. We’re in the exact same possession where we were a year ago and it’s ridiculous.

“When I stood in front of [Rishi Sunak] yesterday, and I told him to look me in the eye.

“Rishi Sunak, you've never been notified that we exist. It’s not the first time, mate.

“This goes to all the politicians because this is an apolitical issue. This is a message to you all, because the longer you leave it and bury your head in the sand. It’s not going away.

“You want to talk about the post office scandal? This is bigger. This is a global and it's getting worse and you can't run away from it any longer."
