Ex-Labour MP rages at Home Office over Islamist's 'plan to buy Scottish island'

Former Labour MP Khalid Mahmood has demanded the Home Office “gets a grip” on a radical Islamist’s plan to acquire Torsa, a tidal island in Scotland.

Sheikh Yasser al-Habib recorded video messages telling his followers “this is my calling” and called on them to donate to his £3million fortune.
