While staying in Windsor, Donald Trump has celebrated Jimmy Kimmel's late-night TV show being suspended "indefinitely".
The US President posted twice on his social media site, Truth Social, at just after 1am, saying it is "great news for America" that the "Jimmy Kimmel Show is cancelled".
The show's suspension came after Mr Kimmel said: "We hit some new lows over the weekend with the Maga gang trying to characterise this kid who killed Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them."
Nexstar Media Group - which runs some 200 TV stations across America - labelled Mr Kimmel's comments "offensive and insensitive at a critical time in our national political discourse".
Sir Keir Starmer to formally recognise Palestinian state after Donald Trump leaves UK
Sir Keir Starmer will formally recognise the state of Palestine over the weekend once Donald Trump has concluded his state visit.
The Prime Minister is reported to have delayed the announcement until after the state visit, following concerns it could dominate the joint press conference at Chequers today.
Washington has firmly opposed recognising the state, with the President warning that such a move would reward Hamas.
The announcement comes before the UN General Assembly's meeting in New York next week, where the UK, France, Australia, and Canada are among the nations expected to extend recognition.
The Prime Minister previously said: "I've always said we will recognise a Palestinian state as a contribution to a proper peace process, at the moment of maximum impact for the two-state solution. With that solution now under threat, this is the moment to act."

EU orders UK to open its borders as Brussels's shares its 'number one priority'
The EU has warned Britain that it will not sign a deal to reduce red tape on food imports unless the UK Government agrees to allow freedom of movement for young Europeans.
The Prime Minister is facing significant pressure to finalise this deal as he seeks to win back voters by promising cheaper prices for supermarket and household goods by 2027, as outlined in Labour's election manifesto.
The urgency for a sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) agreement with the EU has increased following a rise in food inflation, which recently reached an 18-month high.
Labour's EU negotiator, Nick Thomas-Symonds, met with his counterpart in Brussels, Maros Sefcovic, on Wednesday morning.
Following the meeting, Mr Thomas-Symonds said: "Our target for the SPS agreements, which will benefit our agri-food industries, is to have them implemented by 2027."
