I can exclusively reveal that illegal migrants are being given priority healthcare while Brits struggle to get a GP appointment, or spend years on an NHS waiting list.
A document, sent to Patrick Christys Tonight, reveals: GPs can charge £151 per illegal migrant which covers them for a year, but apparently payments for providing healthcare for a patient with level 1 diabetes care, which includes regular blood screenings, medication reviews and checks on blood pressure, weight, eyes and feet only secure a payment of £49 per patient per year.
If you were a money-obsessed GP, which patients would you prioritise?
Staff are also expected to undergo additional training to ensure they are 'supportive and understanding'.
But here's the real kicker - our source told us that referrals to secondary facilities will be prioritised, meaning it's possible that not only would a Channel migrant get priority GP care, they could also go to the top of the NHS waiting list.
Then there is a page of this document dedicated to resources for GPs.
But if you click on the links you'll find some interesting stuff, like this
A document called Migrant: Know Your Rights, which states Everyone in the UK has the right to free care from a GP. If you don’t have proof of ID or address, you can still register. Immigration status or nationality don’t matter - reception won’t ask for immigration documents and won’t share your information with the Home Office unless serious crime is involved.
There is a lot more to unpack here - and I will be revealing more about the two-tier health service that prioritises illegal immigrants over Brits in coming shows.
But it looks like you've got more chance of seeing a GP and getting good care if you came into Britain illegally, as opposed to being born here, and paying into the system all your life.
