Anthony Albanese has won Australia's 2025 federal election, securing another term as Prime Minister
In his victory speech, Albanese addressed the nation after receiving a concession call from opposition leader Peter Dutton.
When the audience began booing at the mention of Dutton's name, Albanese quickly admonished them.
"No, I know what we do in Australia is we treat people with respect," the Prime Minister said firmly.
He went on to thank Dutton for his "generous words" following the hard-fought campaign.
