WATCH: Shocking moment mother and baby NARROWLY avoid death as car flies towards them

A young child and her mother narrowly avoided death after a vehicle crashed just in front of them while they were walking on the pavement.

The vehicle appeared to swerve into the pavement before hitting a Belisha beacon next to a zebra crossing, turning on its side before stopping in front of them.
