The people of Wales have reacted to the new 20mph speed limit, as the imposed default speed limit means previous 30mph roads have now been reduced to 20mph.

Speaking to GB News' West Midlands Reporter Jack Carson, residents of the Welsh town Mold shared their thoughts on the newly imposed driving limit.

One local said: "It's okay around schools and bungalows and that, but in other places, complete waste of time I think. It's just slowing everybody up, isn't it?"

Another said: "I feel that cutting it down to 20 miles is saving people's lives and that's the main thing. I'd rather be five minutes late to work than be involved in an accident."

A third slammed the speed limit, saying: "I think it's like a funeral procession going through the roads, and we understand on the side roads, going to schools and things like that. But on the main arterial roads, why can't it stick to 30? 30 was fine!"

A fourth resident was in favour of the speed limit, saying: "I'm getting used to it. But if it saves one life, it's going to be worth it."
