Whipsnade Zoo's Rockhopper Penguins have hopped on the scales for this year's annual weigh-in, as GB News reporter Jack Carson watches on live from the zoo.
Speaking to Whipsnade's Sarah Forsyth, she told GB News: "We're looking for changes in their weight, that's what we want to see. As you'll see, some of the penguins are looking a bit scruffy than others, that's because at the moment they're going through their catastrophic moult, which is quite a challenging time for the penguins.
"And they do put on a lot of weight before this because their feathers are no longer waterproof, so it's a good way of checking if they're heavy enough at the moment."
