He said donations raised by the GB News audience around this time last year have totalled around £400,000, helping 55 older people across 29 counties.
Patrick highlighted the case of a 71-year-old man in West Yorkshire who was able to remain in his home thanks to the support.
He explained the funds will continue to be distributed at a rate of £100,000 a year over the coming years.
