The exchange grew more heated when the aid worker appeared to make an accusation in French

Patrick Christys has grilled charity workers at working at a migrant camp in Northern France.

"My name is Patrick. I work for GB News. Is there any chance I could maybe have a little chat with you at all?" The host asked.

The humanitarian volunteers immediately declined his request for dialogue. "Is that right? We don't want to," came the terse response from one charity worker.

Despite the initial rebuff, Patrick persisted with his questioning, raising concerns about whether the charity's activities might inadvertently support illegal border crossings.

He said: "Can I just ask you a couple of quick questions? Is that all right? Because some people might say that you are, in a way, helping the human traffickers. Do you feel like maybe you're helping the traffickers at all?"

The aid workers attempted to avoid further discussion by claiming linguistic barriers. "We don't speak English very well," one volunteer stated, though Patrick challenged this assertion.

"You do speak English. You're speaking perfect English now," he observed.

"What's interesting for a lot of people in England is the idea that maybe you're helping people break into the country," Patrick stated.

The exchange grew more heated when the aid worker appeared to make an accusation in French.

"Hang on a second you think just me questioning this makes me a racist? Is that right?" Patrick responded, adding: "You said it. I speak enough French to know you just called me a racist."
