Gareth Watchman, member of the British Hound Sports Association, from Charm Park in Scarborough has fumed after Labour announce its plan to ban trail hunting.
Speaking to GB News, he said: "It plays a large part in the rural areas. There's so many things that hunting does without charity work, local things that brings local communities together.
"For that to stop it would it would stop a lot of our older generation and community being able to come together.
"We've also got the next generations coming through and we want to secure our future fathers.
"I'm the third generation of my family that's hunted, and I want my daughter to be able to do the same. And her children after that."
