The GB News star joined the Immigration and Customs Enforcement for a dawn raid in Florida

Watch the moment Ben Leo witnesses ICE officers arrest eight illegal migrants in a Florida dawn raid, as part of a manhunt for a wanted drug smuggler.

The GB News star joined the team of officers as they targeted a Guatemalan national, accused of cross-border cocaine trafficking.

Starting their mission at four in the morning, Ben joined their initial briefing as the leading officer told his team the man in question is "wanted in El Salvador for drug trafficking".

He stated that the man has also "been expelled twice from the United States under Title 42".

The ICE officers then staked out the suspect's location, tracking down a car thought to contain the wanted man, but instead, the team found a group of Americans and released them.

Just a few miles down the same road, another target vehicle is stopped and detained, with "several family members" of the suspect found.

ICE officer Alvin told Ben: "This is the second stop in the attempt to find Tango. Unfortunately, Tango is not here.

"We found several of his family members, same last name, but ultimately we weren't able to find Tango today. But we'll continue our pursuit of Tango."

As Alvin was sharing details of the case with Ben, a man drove past their crew and heckled the ICE officers, shouting: "Leave the man alone".

Alvin told GB News: "That's their ignorance, a lot of times they don't want to know, they just pick a side, and without any type of information.

"Every day we have civilians doing counterintelligence on us, letting the public and the illegals know where we are. We're trying to do our jobs, try to make the public safe, and this is what we're dealing with."

Revealing the "primary reason" why the officers are forced to "wear masks", Alvin added: "That's the primary reason why we wear masks, we're identified every day, and then people try to go after our families, our homes, the officers, so we don't do it by choice, we do it by necessity."

At their third and final hit of the raid, another arrest is made by the officers, but the prime suspect was not found.

Praising another "successful day" for the team, Alvin told Ben: "We've got eight migrants, aliens arrested. So a successful morning, and the day continues."

As Ben suggested that they "need something like this in the UK", Alvin agreed, concluding: "Definitely, I think you can."

Sharing his analysis of his raid with the ICE team, Ben told GB News: "Alvin just texted me as that package was playing, and he said with reference to the Guatemalan cocaine suspect, 'target in custody, we later located him at the same house we were at. I think he left before we got there or after we went after the other vehicles'.

"So eventually they got the guy, the cocaine smuggler from Guatemala who El Salvador wants, and he'll go through due process and probably be kicked out back to El Salvador."
