Ben Leo joined United States immigration officers on a dawn raid in Florida, witnessing a series of arrests as officials hunted a suspected international cocaine smuggler.
The GB News star was on a ride along with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as they targeted a Guatemalan national accused of cross-border drug trafficking.
Officers failed to locate their primary suspect, but detained six other suspects during two roadside stops.
"It’s been a fairly successful morning,” Ben said from the scene.

"We didn’t get the main target, but six illegal migrants have been taken into custody.
"Facial-recognition checks confirmed they had no legal status. They’ll now be detained, processed and removed."
The high-profile raids have become emblematic of Donald Trump’s hard-line approach to border enforcement.
The US President has vowed to detain and remove those he calls “illegal aliens” and has promised further crackdowns if re-elected.

Ben raised the question of whether similar tactics should be considered in Britain.
"Is this the kind of approach we need in the UK?” he asked.
“Roadside stops, visible enforcement, a bit of action and real intent because at the moment we’re putting people in hotels, giving them bus passes, days out to Arsenal games and NHS dentistry.”
Officials in the US say the hunt for the cocaine smuggler is ongoing.

Mr Trump came into office pledging the largest mass deportation in US history, targeting the more than 10 million undocumented migrants living in the country.
Since then, border crossings have dropped sharply, ICE arrests have doubled, and the number of people in detention has reached record levels.
ICE told Congress last year that, as of July, it had identified 435,000 undocumented immigrants with criminal convictions living freely in the US.
Among them, 13,099 had been convicted of murder and 15,811 of sexual assault.
By the end of May 2025, ICE had arrested 752 non-citizens convicted of murder and 1,693 convicted of sexual assault.
Meanwhile, data from Customs and Border Protection shows that illegal crossings at the southern border have dropped sharply.
