The former Coronation Street actress split from the footballer in 2022

Helen Flanagan has bid an emotional farewell to the Lancashire mansion she once shared with former fiancé Scott Sinclair, posting a poignant video on Instagram that appeared to take aim at the footballer.

The 35-year-old actress shared footage on Tuesday featuring her three children – Matilda, ten, Delilah, seven, and Charlie, five – as they prepared to leave the six-bedroom property.

In a caption that pointedly excluded her ex-partner, Ms Flanagan wrote: "It's always been just us, just us 4. I feel like I really found myself in this house and it's been special."

She continued: "There is nothing I wouldn't do for you 3 x Mummy's always got it, always x."

Fellow actresses Chelsee Healey and Stephanie Davis offered support in the comments, with Ms Healey calling her friend "the best mummy."

The property, which was initially listed for £1.5million in May last year, eventually sold for approximately £995,000 – representing a significant £500,000 reduction from its original asking price.

According to Land Registry documents, Mr Sinclair, 37, remains the sole owner of the residence, meaning he stands to receive around £155,000 from the transaction.

Estate agents Miller Metcalfe described the home as "an exceptional and beautifully presented detached family residence" spanning more than 5,000 square feet across three floors.

The property boasts six bedrooms, six bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows in the entrance hall, and panoramic views across reservoirs and open countryside from its position on the edge of the moors.

Ms Flanagan had reportedly wished to remain in the home following their 2022 separation.

The dispute between the former couple has turned increasingly acrimonious, with sources claiming their relationship has become "toxic" and Flanagan now refusing to speak to Mr Sinclair directly.

A particularly bitter row has erupted over a sofa, with a source revealing to The Sun: "Helen is fuming because the sofa was knackered, the kids ripped it and smeared lipstick all over it, so she spent a fortune having it reupholstered, so rightly believes it's now hers."

When Ms Flanagan attempted to sell the piece on Instagram for £3,950, Mr Sinclair reportedly intervened, claiming ownership and insisting he would collect it.

According to sources speaking to the publication, Ms Flanagan "wasn't planning to talk to Scott or even look him in the eye" during the move, with all communication about the property and furnishings conducted via email.

Ms Flanagan and Mr Sinclair were together for 13 years before their relationship ended in 2022, and the breakdown has been marked by ongoing tension over living arrangements.

A friend of the actress previously explained: "Scott pays for the house and all the bills and he's decided a six-bedroom place is way too big for Helen on her own with the kids."

The source added that Mr Sinclair had offered to purchase a four-bedroom property in Ms Flanagan's name, but wanted to cease maintenance payments in return.

Ms Flanagan had been reluctant to relocate, with her children settled at local schools and her parents living nearby.

However, she recently acknowledged coming to terms with the move, citing a "sadness" in what was meant to be their forever family home.
