Watch as liberal doctor refuses to answer 'Can men get pregnant?' question TWELVE times

This is the moment obstetrician-gynecologist Dr Nisha Verma refuses to answer whether men are able to get pregnant 12 times when asked by Republican Senator Josh Hawley.

The exchange came during a Senate hearing on the safety and regulation of abortion pills on Wednesday.

Dr Verma was first probed by Senator Ashley Moody, who asked whether men were able to obtain the pills, to which the doctor responded by suggesting she looks after “people with many identities".

When asked whether men were capable of getting pregnant, Dr Verma said she "was not really sure what the goal of the question is".

Mr Hawley clapped back: "The goal is just to establish a biological reality. You said just a moment ago that science and evidence should control, not politics...Can men get pregnant?"

Dr Verma labelled the line of questioning as "polarising", refusing to give a clear answer to the Republican's question.

She said: "I also think yes/no questions like this are a political tool."

But the Senator did not let up in his line of questioning...
