President Trump has vowed to exert “maximum pressure” on Iran if they fail to reach an agreement with America.

Trump is undertaking a four-day visit to the Gulf States and criticised Saudi Arabia’s long-term foes.
The US president lavished Saudi Arabia with praise - pointing to its vast building projects and the football World Cup.
Trump also said it is his “dream” that Saudi signs the Abraham Accords, but did not address the major stumbling block of Israel.
Israel’s assault on Gaza, prompted by Hamas’s attack on October 7, 2023, has led to Saudi Arabia confirming it will not normalise Israeli relations unless the war ends and progress is made towards the establishment of the Palestinian state.
