One of the faces of ITV’s The Chase has been slammed for a “creepy” tweet he sent about one its famous contestants.
Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett took to Twitter to comment on Carol Vorderman’s appearance on a celebrity special of Beat The Chasers, but some took offence.
In a tweet, Mark, 56, said: “I don’t know what is more impressive about @carolvorders , her intellect or her more tangible assets #superstar #BeatTheChasers.”
Some of his near 150,000 followers found the tweet to be cheeky, others took offence.
In response, one users said it was a “bit weird”.
Another said it was “such a creepy tweet”.
A third tweet replied: "Really? This is 2022 not 1972! A bit creepy and sexist".
However, Carol, 61, seemed to find the funny side, replying: “You beast you…”
The former Countdown star didn't perform too well on the show, but she did leave an impression on many - including "The Beast" - whilst wearing a skin tight red dress, with one viewer claiming her outfit "broke the internet".
