Peter Bone has clashed with Neale Hanvey over the ongoing migrant crisis as the two MPs reacted to today’s PMQs.
Last week, GB News revealed that more than 44,000 migrants have crossed the Channel so far this year.
The number who made it to the UK in the whole of 2021 was 28,526.

Out of 33,029 arrivals in the UK between January and September, 11,241 (35%) were Albanians. This is a sharp increase compared with the 3% recorded in the whole of 2021.
Mr Bone said: “They shouldn’t be in hotels and there was a move by the government to put them in in a facility that I think was an ex-military one.
“Well, first of all, you stop it. That's the point. 40,000 people coming across from France, actually they shouldn’t, they should go back.
“But if we do have people here, they should not be in the hotels.
“Someone was saying to me yesterday, we can build a Nightingale Hospital in next to no time.
“Surely we can build a facility to hold people who, after all, are only there to be decided whether they've got their asylum right or not.”
Mr Bone said migrants "shouldn’t be in hotels".

Responding, Neale Hanvey said: “When you claim asylum, you are doing that with the intention that you need help, you need support.
“The issue is, you need to employ enough people to decide these cases so that they’re not held in encampments, as I think Conservatives want to do.
“Many of these people have been traumatised by violence and war. Many of them are coming from areas which we have supported the conflict in.
“Now, if they're not coming from war torn areas and that is a valid argument, then speed up. Speed up the process.
Mr. Bone quickly retaliated, asking “why don’t we send them back to Albania then?”
“They don’t claim asylum, they claim modern day slavery, which then puts off for months and months before they get to a site. And that law needs to be changed.”
“If they come from Albania, they’re economic migrants, not fleeing from some war.”
