A new anti-fraud campaign has been launched to help people protect themselves against fraud offences
The government has launched a nationwide crackdown on fraud offences to try and help people protect themselves.
Fraud offences account for more than 40 per cent of all crime and directly cost more than £7 billion annually in England and Wales, according to Home Office figures.
