Crowds of pro-Iranian protesters gathered outside Downing Street to chant "Allahu Akbar" last night in an "emergency protest" against Donald Trump.
Hours after the President threatened to wipe out Iran - but before he announced a ceasefire - activists descended on Westminster to vent.
The demonstration was organised by the Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC)
A spokesman for the group previously labelled the now-dead Ayatollah Ali Khamenei a “man of principle” whose "legacy will be etched into history as someone who resisted oppression".
Ahead of Tuesday night's "Hands Off Iran" protest, the group said Mr Trump had "made his genocidal intentions against the Iranian people clear".
It added: "Repeated bombings in the past week against Iran’s civilian infrastructure are now followed by thinly veiled threats of nuclear attacks with the goal of complete annihilation of an entire civilisation.
"We will not stay silent in face of this brazen criminality.
"The UK Government must stop being complicit in war crimes and must immediately impose restrictions against the use of British military bases by American bombers."
The UK has only allowed its bases to be used for defensive US strikes.
