'There is a line. This is the line. We need to hold the line,' Mr Vickers said

Tory minister Matt Vickers has slammed Kanye West being set to take the headline slot at Wireless Festival later this year.

The Shadow Minister of State for Illegal Immigration, Crime, Policing and Fire told GB News Mr West had said “some horrific, vile things” and “should not be allowed to perform”.

“I'm a free speech advocate... But the moment that free speech extends to abuse and to hatred, it causes people to fear leaving their own homes. There is a line. This is the line. We need to hold the line.”
