Bev Turner highlighted a huge hole in Sunak's latest speech as he outlined his goals for the future.
Speaking on Britain's Newsroom this morning: "So January this year, this was Rishi Sunak's five pledges. Reduce debt. Halve inflation. Grow the economy. Cut the waiting list and stop the boat.
"Fast forward to November. It's got five more for you. Everything comes in five. Remember that in politics now.
"Reduce the debt. Same cut tax. That's a new one. World class education. That's a new one too. Building sustainable energy. That's a new one. And backing British business.
She added: "Interesting. No sign of the boats. He's dropped the boats.
"He's given up on the boats. Is that what that means? Well, who knows?
But I mean, it's it's, it's fascinating, isn't it? Isn't it? Cutting taxes. That's long overdue but how much and how quickly and how significant and we are going to be talking of course about petrol duty too because I don't think there's going to be any progress on that this week."
