
'Their preparations have gone well so far,' the ex-Tottenham Hotspur player said
Former England striker Clive Allen has given his verdict on whether the Three Lions have a chance of securing glory ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Speaking to GB News, the ex-Tottenham Hotspur player also shared his thoughts on manager Thomas Tuchel’s squad.
“He took his time in terms of picking the players that he wanted, the players that he felt would be conducive to a really good squad going into this competition,” Allen began.
“Their preparations have gone well so far.”
When asked if England had a chance of lifting their first international trophy since 1966, the former striker responded: “Without a doubt. I think.”
