GB News viewers have been hailed for backing a veterans' charity by national reporter Charlie Peters after a night joining in with the Great Tommy Sleep Out.
The challenge, organised by the Royal British Veterans Enterprise, is designed to support Britons who served in the Armed Forces, but now find themselves without a home.
Charlie braved the elements and spent the night in an outdoor trench system in Maidstone, Kent - replicating the conditions soldiers endured during the First World War.
In the morning, Charlie thanked viewers for their generosity in supporting his challenge.
He said: "Last night, when we were covering the RBVE, we've just been told by the charity that hundreds of you went online and donated.
"They're searching for a £3million goal this year. GB News viewers and listeners have certainly done their bit to contribute to that this year."
The charity's JustGiving page can be found here.
