GB News stars dominate finalists list for prestigious media award

GB News Breakfast has also been shortlisted for Multi-Channel News Programme.

"To us, they’re the true People’s Awards for the industry.

"We’re especially thrilled that the majority of finalists for the News Presenter award are from GB News because it shows that the voters who matter most – the audience - really love what we’re doing."

A staggering 1.6 million votes were cast by the public to compile the list of finalists, with the winners set to be announced at a lavish ceremony at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, on Tuesday June 27.

Recognising the very best of Britain's TV, radio and online shows, they award excellence across the industry, from news to entertainment to podcasts.

TRIC Chair, Daniel Todaro said: "What makes the TRIC Awards so special is that it’s the public who gets to choose who wins a coveted TRIC Award and hold a place in history alongside those who have won in our 54 year history.

"The Television and Radio Industries Club, a not for profit organisation, achieved over 1.6 million votes cast by the general public to select their favourite TV, Radio & Streaming programming, celebrities and moments.

"I’m exceptionally proud of the nominees all chosen by you, the fans, that watches, the listeners and the streamers who make winning a TRIC Award a bit more personal."

In another public vote, a Savanta survey of 45,000 people last month found that GB News is the nation’s most loved news brand ahead of the Guardian and The Sun.
