Tesco Clubcard holders have until May 10 to secure a 5,000 bonus in Virgin Points by signing up to an automatic conversion offer for the first time.
The deal is available to shoppers who activate the auto-exchange feature converting Clubcard points into Virgin Points before 11.59pm on May 10.
Once enrolled, Clubcard points will automatically convert into Virgin Points with each quarterly statement.
Virgin said: "Bag 5,000 bonus Virgin Points when you sign up to auto exchange your Clubcard points into Virgin Points for the first time by May 10, then turn those points into unforgettable adventures - fly, stay and sail the Virgin way."
The conversion rate means each Clubcard point is doubled when exchanged into Virgin Points.
For example, 400 Clubcard points would convert into 800 Virgin Points under the scheme.
Tesco said: "Can bread get you to the beach? Can potatoes get you in the pool? Can sugar get you some sun? The answer is yes."
The supermarket added: "What you might not know is your collection of Tesco Clubcard points can actually be exchanged into Virgin Points."

To qualify for the bonus, shoppers must have a minimum of 250 Clubcard points in their account.
Customers must also remain signed up to the automatic exchange feature on May 10, 2026 to receive the reward.
Joining Virgin Red is free for Clubcard members, with users able to activate the feature by logging into their account and following the required steps.
The 5,000 bonus Virgin Points are expected to be credited by June 14, 2026.

Virgin Points can be redeemed across a range of rewards through the Virgin Red programme.
These include flights, hotel stays, cruises and other travel-related experiences.
Virgin Points do not expire, allowing members to build balances over time without time restrictions.
The points can be used with Virgin Atlantic and 25 partner airlines, including Air France and KLM.
In terms of value, £1.50 in Clubcard vouchers converts into 300 Virgin Points.
Through the Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, points can be redeemed for reward flights, seat upgrades or combined with cash through Points Plus Money fares.
