Luke Littler is chasing history in Birmingham on night 15 of the Premier League of Darts as the teenager promised "fireworks" during his matches.
The back-to-back world champion is eyeing up a record seventh nightly win, having won the last three in Liverpool, Aberdeen and Leeds.
Littler sits five points clear at the top of the table and can secure a third top-placed finish in three years if he defeats Jonny Clayton in the quarter-finals.
Speaking ahead of night 15 at the Utilita Arena, the world champion said he has "got to keep going" with the level of darts he is performing.
Littler said: "I've got a lot of confidence and now I can go chasing my own records within the next two weeks.
"After the win against Jonny last week, I knew I was a few points clear. I've just got to keep top spot now.
"I think it will be a very good game against Jonny. He will be wanting the win, I'll be wanting the win, so expect fireworks."
Clayton is also guaranteed a spot in the play-offs at the O2 Arena on May 28, but the last two places are still available.

Gerwyn Price and Luke Humphries remain in the top four, being closely followed by Michael van Gerwen and Gian van Veen.
Van Gerwen, who is in action against Price tomorrow in the quarter finals, has backed himself to beat the Iceman, who pulled out of last week's event in Leeds.
The Dutchman said: "I believe in my own ability and I think I'm playing some good darts."
Van Gerwen is in form too, having won a midweek Players Championship event in Leicester.

"I love what I do and especially when I play like this, I love it even more."
Humphries finds himself in a strong position after making it to the final last week, losing out to Littler in a deciding frame.
He faces Stephen Bunting in Birmingham, who finds himself six points off the top four, only picking up 13 all season.

Rock has only collected eight points throughout this season, struggling to compete with the other elite players.
Only a couple more nights are in store after Birmingham, as the darting stars travel to Sheffield next week before finals night on May 28 in the capital.
