Gloria De Piero gave her analysis of exactly what the Diane Abbott move will mean for Labour
Gloria De Piero gave her verdict on Labour's decision on Diane Abbott after the Labour party said the MP had not been banned from the party.
The MP for Hackney North said she had been banned from standing as a Labour MP at the next election.
She issued a statement confirming she had been handed back the Labour whip after months over investigation over her conduct.
Starmer hit back at Abbott claiming the MP had not been banned from standing but that she was stepping down after mutually agreeing.
GB News presenter Gloria De Piero reacted to the news and the decision by Labour.
She said: "Being concerned with whether or not Diane Abbott will want to stand.
"Now, some people in the party and even the electorate actually really like Diane Abbott recognize her trailblazing.
"But in some of the areas, the sort of red wall areas, her and Jeremy Corbyn, that wing of the Labour Party, there's a lot more dangerous.
"So they've got a difficult decision. I hope the Labour Party make it quickly. Otherwise Diane Abbott will be dominating the news agenda rather than the Labour Party talking about the NHS, which it wanted to do today for the coming days.
"And that's not good."
