Speaking on the day Chancellor Jeremy Hunt delivers his Autumn statement, Martin Daubney revealed his process ahead of his afternoon show.
Martin said: "It's my job in the next hour and 20 minutes to boil all of this down. What does it mean for you as a homeowner, as a taxpayer? As a small business owner?
"Just as anybody who's fed up with being crushed by the cost of living. We'll have Liam Halligan boiling this down, all the main points covered.
Martin went on preview the sort of ranges of voices you can hear on GB News on days like today: "We've got political experts, we've got Conservative Party MPs, we've got an MP from the Labour Party putting it to them and also small business owners.
And reflecting the desire from GB News to reflect voices from right across the country, Martin also reiterated: "We're across Britain, we're in the West Country, we're in the North, we're in the Midlands.
"We want to find out what ordinary people think about this because this impacts our lives in the most imaginable way possible.
"And that is the pounds and the pens and our pockets and our purses and our wallet. What are we going to save? It's our job to tell you - to cut all the grease, all the spin - and give it to you straight. That's what we do here on GB News."
