Ford
The Blue Oval brand has submitted two separate recall notices to the United States National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)
The first recall concerns a detached liftgate hinge cover, which can create a distraction or a road hazard.
This can increase the risk of a crash for 108,762 vehicles included in the recall. It impacts certain 2020-2022 Escape and 2025 Escape models.

The Ford Escape
| FORDDealers will inspect and reinstall, or replace any missing liftgate hinge covers as necessary, for free, with vehicle owners set to be notified in mid-January next year.
A further 11,852 Lincoln MKT (2016-2019) SUVs are also being recalled as Ford states that the driver and front passenger B-Pillar door trim may detach while driving.
The recall notice states: "Customers may visually notice the B-pillar trim appliques separating from the top of the front doors when entering/exiting the vehicle and/or hear wind noise and rattling noise as they drive."
Ford said it was aware of 1,038 warranty claims for trim detachment related to the concern, although there are no reports of accidents or injuries related to the condition.

The Hyundai Santa Fe
| HYUNDAIHyundai
More than 143,000 Hyundai Santa Fe models will be recalled over concerns the rearview camera may not have been installed properly.
Documents suggest that this can damage the wiring harness and cause the rearview camera image to not display the reverse view properly, potentially increasing the risk of an accident.
Owners are requested to bring their vehicles to a dealer so technicians can replace the rearview camera and properly reposition the wire harness. This will be completed for free.

American manufacturing giant Chrysler has announced a recall for 72,500 vehicles amid fears that an instrument panel failing to show critical information, like warning lights, could lead to an accident.
The NHTSA stated that the issue causes the vehicles to not comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard requirements, namely numbers 102, 105 and 135.
The list of impacted vehicles includes 2025-2026 Ram 1500 Pickup, Ram 2500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Cab Chassis, 4500 Ram Cab Chassis, and Ram 5500 Cab Chassis vehicles.

Rivian
The Jeff Bezos-backed electric van manufacturer has issued a recall for almost 35,000 of its popular EDV delivery vans from production years 2022 to 2025.
It warned that a damaged seat belt pretensioner cable may not restrain the occupant as intended, potentially increasing the risk of injury during a crash.
Rivian said the fault in the EDV would be inspected and replaced if necessary. The EDV were originally exclusive to Amazon and can frequently be seen across the United States delivering packages.
