GB News presenter Emily Carver has made her return to the People's Channel to cover Michael Portillo's Sunday show.
Opening the show, Emily told GB News viewers: "It is an absolute pleasure to be back. Thank you for all your kind messages, I've received quite a few.
"I'm not quite finished with maternity leave yet, but I have been getting withdrawal symptoms from being away from GB News viewers listeners for so long. But what a day to come back, eh? So much news going around!"
