The former Coronation Street star has not held back against the father of her children

Helen Flanagan has launched a scathing attack on her former fiancé Scott Sinclair, branding the footballer a "d**khead" amid an ongoing row over their family home.

The former Coronation Street actress made the explosive remarks following reports that the 36-year-old ex-Bristol Rovers player wants her to vacate the property where she lives with their three children.

Despite the bitter dispute, the 35-year-old soap star admitted she retains some affection for her former partner of 13 years.

"He's a d**khead, but I will always have love for him," she declared in a new interview.

The couple, who ended their relationship four years ago, share daughters Matilda, 10, and Delilah, seven, along with four-year-old son Charlie.

However, the actress made clear there is no friendship remaining between them despite their co-parenting arrangement.

"I don't like him, I don't think we like each other. It has been hellish, very challenging. It has left me in a difficult place financially," she began.

"I have bit my tongue for three and a half years. We have a very bad relationship; we only communicate through my father now," she told the Daily Mail.

The tensions boiled over during the festive period when Mr Sinclair failed to attend their youngest child's nativity play, instead attending the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Ms Flanagan vented her frustration on social media at the time, writing: "You really are a piece of s**t. How dare you not turn up to Charlie's nativity."

She later explained her decision to speak out publicly, stating: "Women are sometimes supposed to keep quiet, but why should we? I was so cross."

The dispute centres on a lavish six-bedroom property near Bolton, where Ms Flanagan grew up, which remains in Mr Sinclair's name.

The home was listed for sale last year with an asking price of £1.5 million before being reduced to £995,000.

Sources have indicated that Mr Sinclair believes the property is too large for Ms Flanagan and the children, and he has proposed purchasing a four-bedroom house that would be placed in her name.

However, this offer comes with a condition: the footballer wants to cease maintenance payments.

Ms Flanagan is reportedly resisting the move, with insiders suggesting she loves the home, the children are settled at their local school, and her parents live nearby.

Sources have claimed Mr Sinclair wants to sell to extract the equity, describing his approach as "not being reasonable."

Ms Flanagan has spoken candidly about the financial toll the situation has taken, revealing she is the primary earner in her household.

She explained that this often forces her to accept work she would otherwise decline simply to cover expenses.

The actress expressed deep resentment towards her former partner over the impact on her family time.

"And being away from my children gives me a lot of mum guilt, too. So, I can't forgive Scott for stealing a lot of my time with my children. I resent him for that," she said.

Despite the acrimony, Ms Flanagan is said to be eager to move forward and find romance again.

Sources close to the star have revealed she is "definitely ready for love" and wants to meet someone trustworthy who will adore her three children, as they remain her top priority.
