David Rapp, the son of EastEnders star Derek Martin, has tragically died just days after losing his father, BBB talent agency has confirmed.
The actor, renowned for portraying Charlie Slater in the BBC soap, passed away in hospital at the age of 92 earlier this month.
His son David had been at his bedside during his final moments.
In a statement posted on social media, BBB Agency announced the devastating news: "Devastating news today. Just after losing his father. David has also passed away. The gentle giant whose heart was as big as he was. I couldn't have wished for a better friend or workmate."

The agency added: "Rest in peace, David Rapp you will be missed! BBB HQ will never be the same."
No cause of death has been disclosed for Mr Rapp.
Mr Rapp had forged his own path in the entertainment industry, working as a booker for BBB Talent Agency.
In his role, he collaborated with major broadcasters and production companies, including the BBC, Channel 4, Pixar and Sony.

A family friend confirmed that Mr Rapp was present when his father died in hospital earlier this month.
Mr Martin's heartbroken family released a statement through his agent Sharon Henry following the actor's death.
They said: "Derek wasn't just a dad to us he was a friend and supported us through our highs and lows.
"He never stopped learning, he loved meeting people and was always generous with his time. We both miss him terribly."

Mr Martin's career in entertainment spanned several decades, beginning with stunt work on programmes such as Doctor Who before a collarbone injury in 1971 forced him to change direction.
He subsequently moved into acting, securing roles in various films during the 1960s and 70s, including Secrets of a Windmill Girl and Adventures of a Plumber's Mate.
Television work followed, with appearances in Minder, The Bill, Upstairs, Downstairs and Only Fools and Horses.
In 1982, he became the second performer to take on the role of Detective Inspector Jack Frost in a BBC radio adaptation of A Touch of Frost.

His most celebrated role came when he joined EastEnders in 2000 as Charlie Slater, the patriarch of one of Walford's most beloved families.
He remained with the soap until 2011, returning briefly in 2013 and 2016.
His character's final appearance saw Charlie Slater suffer a fatal heart attack, bringing an end to one of the soap's most memorable figures.
EastEnders paid tribute to the late actor, stating: "From the moment he arrived, Derek's portrayal of Charlie Slater instantly cemented him in the hearts of the audience, as the head of one of EastEnders most iconic families."
The soap added: "Charlie would do anything for his family, and much like his character, Derek would do the same for those around him.
"Derek was deeply loved by all those that worked with him at EastEnders and will always be remembered with great fondness."
Two years ago, Mr Martin celebrated his 90th birthday surrounded by loved ones, including both sons David and Jonathan, as well as Carry On star Anita Harris.
