Adam Peaty's sister Bethany has spoken publicly for the first time about the ongoing dispute between her family and the Ramsays, revealing she has mended her relationship with her mother Caroline following months of tension.
The 32-year-old was the sole member of the Peaty family permitted to attend her brother's wedding to Holly Ramsay at Bath Abbey in December, serving as one of three bridesmaids at the ceremony.
Finally breaking her silence, the mother-of-two described being trapped between her Olympic swimmer brother and their mother as "a very difficult time".
"I'm caught right in the middle of the row," she told Mail Online.

Bethany, who works as a carer, faced accusations of betraying her family by choosing to support Adam during the fallout.
A family source branded Bethany "a bit of a snake" for her decision to align with Adam, claiming to Mail Online she had "a glimpse into a different life and sold her soul by backing Adam to be part of it".
The insider alleged she has since "come running back to mum" following the wedding festivities.
However, Bethany explained her reconciliation with Caroline, 60, was motivated by her childrens' well-being.

"But I've made up with mum really for the children," she told the publication, adding: "They adore her and she is a great grandma and a good mum."
Former nursery manager Caroline had reportedly been left devastated by the estrangement from both her son and daughter, describing the period as "very challenging emotionally".
Their reconciliation is understood to have occurred in January, well in time for Mother's Day.
Bethany admitted it was "a shame and very sad" that her mother had been barred from witnessing Adam's nuptials.

She attempted to mediate between the feuding parties but acknowledged the difficulty, noting: "We as Peatys are very strong-minded people."
When asked about suggestions that the celebrity lifestyle had dazzled her, Bethany responded: "It's a wonderful world, a very different one to the one we know."
Of Gordon Ramsay, his wife Tana, and their daughter Holly, she added: "They are a good family and made me feel very welcome."
Bethany, who is engaged to partner Daniel Rogerson, 37, joked about her own wedding plans: "I don't know when we are getting married - it won't be on the Ramsay scale!"

The broader family rift shows no signs of healing, with Adam understood to have made no contact with his mother for four months.
Tensions escalated further last month when Gordon Ramsay disclosed that the Olympic swimmer now addresses him as "dad".
This revelation prompted a furious response from Adam's aunt Louise, Caroline's sister, who took to social media to condemn what she called his "toadying behaviour".
"Oh Adam, your poor dad. How could you? That man literally worked his hands bloody in order that you could pursue your dream," she wrote, referencing Mark Peaty's years of labour as a bricklayer to fund his son's swimming career.
She described her nephew as a "complete and utter tool" for his treatment of his parents.
