Europe has no shortage of beautiful beaches, and a new study has listed those with the most guaranteed sun

The British weather can be unpredictable - even in the summer months - so booking a holiday abroad could be a better way to work on your tan.

New research has found Europe's sunniest beach destinations for summer and winter holidays, with Turkey's Ölüdeniz Beach and Greece's Anthony Quinn Bay leading the rankings.

The study by Saga Holidays found that 68 per cent of UK holidaymakers consider beach temperatures a dealbreaker when booking their holidays.

To help, the experts analysed European beaches based on sunshine hours and average temperatures, creating rankings for both high-season (May to October) and low-season (November to April) travel.
