If you're in need of a new mobile and laptop, now may be the perfect time to upgrade.
Samsung just cut the price of the Galaxy S25 Edge by £200, dropping the ultra-thin Android phone £100 below the asking price for iPhone Air for the first time. Not a bad feat given that it cost £100 more than Apple's slimline new smartphone a few days earlier.
But the savings don't stop there. When you upgrade to a new Galaxy S25 Edge, you can claim a Galaxy Chromebook Go 14“ laptop worth £399 for free. Yes, really.
If you want to claim the new Chromebook, you'll need to hurry because the promotion only lasts until 11:59pm on October 2, 2025.
When it comes to features of the Galaxy S25 Edge, the oh-so-thin Android device rivals the recently announced iPhone Air with a pick 'n' mix of features from across the range. On the back, you'll find the same 200MP main camera previously reserved for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the same 6.7-inch edge-to-edge display as the Galaxy S25+, and the 12MP ultra-wide sensor from the more affordable Galaxy S25.
With a wafer-thin 5.8mm chassis — that's roughly the same as three 10p coins stacked on-top of one another — the Galaxy S25 Edge is designed to squeeze a comparable flagship experience to the other handsets in the Galaxy S25 lineup in a much, much smaller package.

On top of the existing £200 off deal, you also have the opportunity to get an additional £50-£453 off when you trade in your old smartphone. They can even be cracked or broken. The Galaxy S25 Edge comes in your choice of jet black, silver, or icy blue

For comparison, the standard Galaxy S25 measures 7.2mm, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra is 8.2mm.
According to Samsung, shaving off the extra 1.4mm to achieve the ultra-thin design of the Galaxy S25 Edge took a "remarkable feat of engineering" that had to reimagine "nearly every element of smartphone design for an even more compact and convenient experience". The crash diet for the Galaxy S25 Edge extends to the overall weight too, which clocks in at just 163 grams.
Speaking about the new design, Samsung UK and Ireland Mobile Experience VP of Product and Marketing, Annika Bizon said: "Galaxy S25 Edge redefines smartphone design, with no compromise on performance.
"It’s our slimmest S Series device yet, created with style and strength in mind. Featuring an iconic Galaxy AI-enabled camera, it opens up a world of creativity in a light, elegant form factor for customers wanting stylish design and the best features Galaxy has to offer."

Galaxy Chromebook Go comes equipped with a spill-resistant keyboard, so it can survive an accidental coffee spill — or two. Samsung says it'll last up to 12 hours on a single charge, which should be enough to work all day without the need to hunt for a plug.
When it's time to recharge, the Galaxy Chromebook Go uses the same USB-C cable as Samsung's line-up of Android smartphones, so you'll only need to pack a single cable on any trips.
