Danielle Lloyd has expressed sympathy for Victoria Beckham as she and her husband, Sir David, remain estranged from their eldest son, Brooklyn.
Following months of speculation about the family's ties, Brooklyn released an explosive statement in January confirming he had no desire to make amends with his loved ones.
Brooklyn levelled a series of allegations at his parents, who have remained relatively tight-lipped about the state of their relationship with the budding chef.
With Brooklyn now living in California with his wife Nicola Peltz away from his family, Ms Lloyd, who was formerly married to England footballer Jamie O'Hara, has waded into the debate.
Brooklyn Beckham is no longer on speaking terms with his famous parents | GETTYWhen asked about the Beckham family saga, Ms Lloyd candidly replied: "Oh, this is really difficult.
"As a mum myself - especially with three older boys - I just think it must be traumatising.
"Honestly, it must be so upsetting to go through something like that and then suddenly be cut off. I genuinely don’t know how I’d cope, to be honest.
"It’s such a heightened situation because they’re so public. How do you even begin to navigate something like that when the whole world is watching?"

| PASuggesting the eldest Beckham child opted for the wrong option in airing his grievances so publicly, Ms Lloyd said: "If it had all happened behind closed doors, it probably wouldn’t have got as bad.
"But because they’re so famous, everything ends up on social media, and it just becomes so much bigger."
Given how severed the ties seem now, Ms Lloyd went on to admit she "doesn't know whether there’s any coming back from it," but she remains optimistic, for Victoria's sake.
"Fingers crossed there is, because no mum should have to go without contact with their child," she told GB News, on behalf of Casino.org.
Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz have not attended any Beckham family events since the fall out | GETTYMs Lloyd's comments come just weeks after Victoria refuted the suggestion that she and David purposefully prioritised "Brand Beckham" - just one of the bombshell claims made by Brooklyn in his January statement.
Speaking on entrepreneur Emma Grede's podcast Aspire, the 52-year-old fashion designer maintained that the couple's £500 million brand emerged without any strategic planning.
"When David and I first met, it was never our intention to start a brand," she told the Dragons' Den star. "People talk about 'Brand Beckham'. That has happened so organically."
The former Spice Girl cited their separate early endorsement deals as proof, referencing David's partnerships with Brylcreem, Adidas and Pepsi alongside her own group's commercial arrangements.

Brooklyn's January statement ran to over 800 words and contained serious allegations against his parents.
The 27-year-old claimed he had been "controlled by a family that values public promotion above all else" and accused them of "performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships".
His most personal accusations concerned his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz, where he alleged his mother had commandeered what should have been his romantic first dance with his bride.
Brooklyn also claimed Victoria pulled out of designing Nicola's wedding gown at the last minute, forcing an urgent search for an alternative.
Brooklyn and Nicola have distanced themselves from the Beckhams in recent years | GETTYHe further alleged his parents attempted to pressure him into signing away rights to his name in the weeks before the ceremony.
Victoria also rejected suggestions that she had been an overbearing mother to Brooklyn and his siblings Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14.
She acknowledged her children faced considerable pressure growing up under public scrutiny, particularly following Brooklyn's revelation about struggling with "overwhelming anxiety" during his youth.
"Our children have had a very different upbringing to myself and David and I think the world is also a very different place now to what it was when they were younger," she explained.

| GETTYThe designer emphasised that her approach centred on helping her children discover their purpose rather than pressuring them.
"It's never about being pushy or forcing," she clarified, adding that she and David "don't put any pressure" on their children.
In his statement, Brooklyn claimed his mental well-being had transformed since creating distance from his family.
"For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared," he wrote, describing waking each day with "peace and relief".
The rift has extended to his siblings, with Brooklyn alleging his brothers blocked him on social media last summer.
