Jaguar Land Rover has rebounded from its devastating cyber attack last year to post impressive results as it prepares for a major product offensive.
Revenue for the full financial year 2026 was £22.9billion, a drop of 20.9 per cent year-on-year, although the iconic British manufacturer faced a number of headwinds.
In addition to US tariffs, market challenges in China and the planned wind-down of outgoing Jaguar models, JLR was most impacted by production stoppages from the devastating cyber attack.
Jaguar Land Rover confirmed at the start of September last year that it had been targeted by a malicious hack, prompting it to shut down numerous facilities for weeks.
Estimates from the Cyber Monitoring Centre (CMC) suggested that the loss would have cost the UK economy around £1.9billion and affected more than 5,000 UK organisations.
Since then, production has restarted and returned to normal, with volumes rising significantly quarter-on-quarter.
Profit before tax and exceptional items was £458million in Q4, down from a profit of £875million the year prior, with profitability heavily impacted by President Trump's tariffs.
The Land Rover Defender OCTA saw an impressive fourfold year-on-year sales uplift in the fourth quarter of the year.

This was backed by brand and product activities, such as the Defender Trophy, Oasis tour and a victory for the Defender DX7-R in the Stock Class at January’s Dakar Rally.
Commenting on the results, P.B. Balaji, CEO of the company, said: "JLR faced a challenging year with revenue and profit impacted by multiple headwinds, including a pause in production following the cyber incident.
"We recovered well in the fourth quarter as production returned to normal levels, demonstrating the commitment of our people, suppliers and retail partners."
Jaguar Land Rover marked other successes, with the Range Rover returning to Milan Design Week with an installation heralding the Range Rover Bespoke service.
