EE is very keen for you to switch to its latest broadband deals. Switch to EE and your broadband bills will plummet to £0 for the first three months of your new contract — meaning you'll pay nothing for internet until July at the earliest.
This includes its Full Fibre 100, 500, 900, and even its 1.6Gbps package — giving you a range of options based on your household needs.
If you've recently been hit with the annual broadband price hikes, then it could be an ideal time to switch, too. Most telecom brands will increase monthly Direct Debits by a fixed pound-and-pence rise to comply with recent Ofcom rule changes sometime this month.
Not sure how much extra you'll need to spend? That depends on the brand that handles your full-fibre broadband, but expect to spend between £36 and £48 extra over the next 12 months for the same connection.
If you're faced with the prospect of paying more for the same broadband speed and service, switching to a new deal is a sure-fire way to save money — or unlock faster speeds for the same amount.

When you switch to EE's full fibre 500 24-month contract, you'll get 425Mbps download speeds and 75Mbps upload speeds — ideal for households consisting of four to eight people. You'll be able to stream content, play games, and work from home simultaneously

If full-fibre 500 isn't quite powerful enough, EE's full-fibre 900 may be a better choice for even busier households connecting multiple devices at once. EE says this option is "excellent for working from home, gaming and streaming in 4K without buffering or log."

If you're not quite at the end of your current deal and will be faced with an early exit fee, major providers will sometimes pay for these in the form of a credit when you switch.
EE will even pay you up to £300 when you switch to its latest deals.
Currently, Virgin Media will give you up to £250 in the form of a credit, whereas Sky and Vodafone will pay you up to £200 to switch.
It's not just covering the cost of leaving your current broadband deal early, as most internet suppliers reserve their best deals for new subscribers, with loyalty rarely rewarded.
Even if you're happy with the service from your current provider, it could still be worth switching to cut monthly bills or unlock faster speeds for the same cost. Regularly bouncing between brands ensures you're not being overcharged or missing out.
Other providers like Virgin Media is offering fast full-fibre internet and over 200 TV channels at its lowest ever price. Sky is also offering its lowest broadband deals.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS
Each of EE's broadband deals also comes with the broadband provider's newest Wi-Fi router, which promises to unleash next-generation speeds and reliability to more households across the UK. With the refresh to its lineup, EE has become the first broadband supplier to offer Wi-Fi 7 as standard.
In comparison, Sky reserves its top-of-the-line Wi-Fi 7 router for the most expensive packages, something that Vodafone also does with its next-generation wireless speeds. Those with long memories won't be surprised to learn that this is exactly what EE did when it launched Wi-Fi 7 in 2024.
Dubbed the EE Smart Hub 7 Plus, this slimline router offers wireless speeds up to 1Gbps — that's 30% faster Wi-Fi throughput compared to the previous EE Smart Hub 6 Plus. That extra capacity isn't just about the fastest downloads possible. It's also useful when juggling more devices on the same network.

EE Smart Hub 7 Plus is the new standard when any customer signs up for full-fibre broadband from the BT-owned brand, unlocking Wi-Fi 7 speeds
| EE PRESS OFFICEAccording to EE, UK households now average over 25 devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Five years ago, most of us had just seven devices connected to our Wi-Fi network.
This increase shows the explosion in smart home gadgets (video doorbells, smart thermostats, wireless speakers, Smart TVs, to name just a few) in recent years, placing more strain on ageing Wi-Fi setups.
The extra bandwidth provided by Wi-Fi 7 makes it much easier to keep everything connected.
EE also offers an optional Wi-Fi Extender 7 Plus, which can be used to create a mesh Wi-Fi network around your home, extending the Wi-Fi network to every corner.
Originally used in airports and offices, mesh Wi-Fi networks replace a single WI-Fi router with multiple nodes dotted around — with devices seamlessly moved between these nodes so they always have the strongest signal, or avoid overloading a single node.
