If you're a designer who uses Canva regularly in your projects, you now have access to Claude AI features with a paid subscription.
This includes having the power to form presentations, fill premade templates automatically, and resize images with fewer steps in the process. This allows you to now type in prompts using to Claude to complete design tasks linked to their Canva account.
With Claude now integrating seamlessly with Canva, it gains a competitive edge over its largest rival, ChatGPT, which has 180 million users compared to Claude’s nearly 20 million.
The use of Claude also allows you to search and summarise keywords in Canva docs, presentations, and templates with Claude's AI platform.
“Instead of uploading or manually transferring ideas, users can now generate, summarize, review, and publish Canva designs, all within a Claude chat,” Anwar Haneef, Head of Canva's Ecosystem told The Verge.
Canva is able to provide this ability for users with their Model Context Protocol (MCP), which launched last month. This allows for users to connect their AI assistants to the platform seamlessly and securely.
Claude integrates with other platforms
Canva, however, isn't the first platform to integrate with the AI service. In fact, users can connect to several other popular services such as Zapier, Cloudflare, Intercom, Asana, Square, PayPal, Linear, and Plaid.
