In some cases, you may even qualify for same-day delivery across 80 cities in the UK. To check this, a box with the option to ship same-day will appear next to the product at checkout.
Prime membership in the UK costs £8.99 per month or £95 per year. Not only will you have access to free expedited shipping, but you can also access Prime Video to watch shows like The Summer I Turned Pretty, The Girlfriend, Fleabag, and more.
However, if you're not sure a subscription to Amazon Prime is worth it, the US retailer offers a 30-day free trial where you can take advantage of all the benefits for free.
If you don't have an Amazon Prime membership, though, you'll need to check the individual product pages for estimated delivery dates. The retail giant uses green stickers beside its products to indicate it will arrive in time for Christmas, and red stickers to warn you they'll be delivered after the cutoff date.

Membership is required to unlock access to expedited shipping for Christmas, to ensure everything you need arrives on time.
1. Order groceries from Amazon Fresh in time
Need a few ingredients for your Christmas dinner? Amazon Fresh is Amazon's grocery service offering online delivery, providing fresh produce, pantry staples, and household items.
Most Amazon Fresh orders can be ordered and delivered on December 24, 2025.
However, always check your local delivery slots at checkout as times vary, especially for same-day/next-day options close to the holiday. To find your specific deadline:
- Go to Amazon.co.uk/groceries (or use the Amazon app)
- Enter your postcode to see the available slots
- Check delivery slot availability during checkout for the days leading up to Christmas

If you'd rather pick up your orders instead of having them sent to the house, Amazon has several pick-up locations available that will store your parcels in a locker. This could be a good option if you don't want a family member accidentally opening your gift to them.

If you need to make a few Christmas returns, Amazon has extended its return window for you. The majority of all items purchased from the online retailer from November 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025 can now be returned until January 31, 2026.
Most items also qualify for free returns, so you won't need to worry about buying additional postage.
