Tennis fans have taken to social media to urge Novak Djokovic to retire after the tennis legend looked out of sorts in his Wimbledon semi-final match against Jannik Sinner.
Djokovic had put on a good showing at the All-England Club throughout the last 10 days, despite fighting injuries, he was still able to progress through to the semi-final with only a few scares.
However, when he faced the world No1, he was no match for Sinner. The Serbian was easily dismantled, and it appears his time at the top of tennis is coming to an end.
After Sinner’s win, he will go on to face two-time defending champion Carlos Alcaraz. The pair put on an all-time classic at the French Open in a five-set and a five-and-a-half hour thriller that saw Alcaraz come out on top.

Djokovic’s playing career has lasted over two decades, and in that time, he has won 24 Grand Slams. This Wimbledon final will be the first in six years without the Serbian in it.
The 24 Grand Slam winner has taken seven of his 24 titles at the All England Club, but fans are starting to notice his health starting to decline.
“Djokovic, a broken man by the end, stopped running and trying," one wrote. Even if he has a niggling injury, don't make it an excuse. Walk away with dignity.”
