Guido Rodriguez has revealed that he was left crying following West Ham beating Manchester United 2-0 on Sunday.
The Hammers midfielder posted an emotional message after winning at Old Trafford.
The 31-year-old joined the Hammers on a free transfer last summer after leaving Real Betis.
The Argentine has struggled for playing time in England, despite being a World Cup winner in 2022.
Since the arrival of Graham Potter, he had only seen two minutes of action before his trip to Old Trafford.
It was a surprise for many when he was included in the starting XI, but quickly justified his selection.
His inclusion helped the Hammers end an eight-game winless streak and jump ahead of both the Red Devils and Spurs in the Premier League table.
Following the match, he took to social media to celebrate the win and revealed he had been left in tears after the game.
He wrote: ”It was about three months without playing... and after so much endurance and effort, today was a reward.
"Of how he enjoyed and continues to enjoy the process.
"Of how he cried after the game. And of how he continues to pursue and work for his dreams."
