Britons claim 'it's absolutely necessary' to have a bank holiday for Euros

Patriotic Britons have urged the new Prime Minister Keir Starmer to give the UK an extra bank holiday for the Euros final.

Lib Dem leader Sir Ed Davey had earlier led calls for a one-off bank holiday, saying the “Government should bring home a bank holiday to celebrate”.
