England manager Thomas Tuchel has revealed that he is considering a trip to the Spanish capital for discussions with Trent Alexander-Arnold regarding the defender's international future.
The 27-year-old right-back has featured for just 26 minutes under Tuchel's management, coming on as a substitute in the victory over Andorra in Barcelona last June.
This limited involvement marks Alexander-Arnold's sole appearance for the German coach.
With merely two friendly matches in March remaining before the World Cup in America next summer, Tuchel has suggested he will arrange a meeting with the Real Madrid player to address his situation within the England setup.

Following England's qualifying victory in Albania on Sunday, Tuchel outlined his intentions to establish contact with players on England's extended roster of 55 to 60 individuals.
"First of all, it's my job now to make contact with everyone, players like Trent," the manager stated.
He emphasised the importance of providing explanations to those not selected regularly, detailing areas for improvement and clarifying whether their absence stems from tactical decisions or performance issues.
Tuchel said: "Explain to them what they have to do, where they can improve. Can they even do something or is it just a choice? So this is my job in the next weeks and months."
